Her crowning last week was celebrated with an outpouring of joy and pride from family, friends, and supporters, signalling a new chapter in the country’s beauty pageant history. Speaking at Haylani’s crowning, the Deputy Prime Minister Tuala Iosefo Ponifasio said the journey is not just personal but it embodies the collective hopes and aspirations of Samoan women.

As she prepares to compete at the 73rd Miss Universe Pageant in Mexico City on November 16, Haylani will enter with accomplishments such as Miss Melbourne Australia, First Runner-Up at the Miss Pacific Islands, and Vice Global at Miss Global 2023 and Miss Universe Samoa 2024.
