Harrods Food Hall has become renowned for its posh grub. And although it's usually quality produce, the price of Harrods ' viral lunch item will be hard to swallow for many. Despite this, some insist it the costly sum is 'worth it'.

The luxury department store brand in Knightsbridge, London - which also has airport shops in the UK - has people flocking to its food hall every day. Filled with fresh bread, rotisserie chicken, dreamy pastries, fresh sandwiches, and a champagne bar, the ground floor space has been described as "the world's greatest" food hall. Recently, the food emporium has gone viral for one of its fresh lunch boxes - including truffle mac and cheese, buttermilk chicken, and tenderstem broccoli.

Food fans have been reviewing the boxes on TikTok - with some saying it is the "best they've ever had". But customers should be prepared to pay £12 for the treat. Popular London food reviewer Libb Bites recently shared her thoughts on the box on TikTok.

She explained that the box is normally £10 but if you want truffle mac and cheese it is an extra £2. Libb said: "I tried it and it's just too good. Harrods knows a good thing.

" She added: "Whenever I've been in that food hall I've got quite a lot of things. The sandwiches I've never really enjoyed, but this box was too good." The content creator warned people to expect "massive" queues if they want the lunchbox, since its recently popularity.

She added: "The deal is you pick one meat. I went for the buttermilk chicken.
