New Delhi: Ranvir Shorey was born on 18th August in Punjab. He did his early schooling in Jalandhar and has a younger brother. He also dated Bollywood actress and Director Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Pooja Bhatt for a brief period of time.
Ranvir later got engaged to Indian actress Konkana Sen Sharma and the two decided to marry. They got married in an intimated ceremony in Mumbai’s Goregaon. However the two got separated after a few years of marriage.
They also have a son and both take care of their son. Ranvir Shorey made his Bollywood debut opposite Manisha Koirala in a film ‘Ek Choti Si Love Story’ in 2002. His next film was a hit but he played a small role in the film ‘Jism’.
He was noticed from the film ‘Khosla ka Ghosla’. His comic character was praised by audience and critics. Then came his film ‘Pyar ke Side Effects’ in which he played the role of Nanoo with actor Rahul Bose.
His film ‘Honeymoon Travels’ also performed well at the box office in the year 2007. He was also seen in films like’ Ugly aur Pagli’ and Singh is King’. The ‘Khosla ka Ghosla ‘ actor hosted the show ‘Jhalak Dikhlaja’ in 2014.
Ranvir Shorey also worked in a small budget film with actress Swara Bhaskar. He currently received a lot of limelight in Reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’. He entered the show on June 21st and played really well.
