The popular X-Men character was heavily speculated to make a cameo in the film X-Men franchise star Halle Berry has revealed why her portrayal of Storm doesn’t appear in Deadpool & Wolverine – see what she had to say below. Leading up to the film’s release, fans speculated that Berry’s Storm could made a cameo in the film, given her ties to the Fox universe. However, hopes for Storm’s involvement in the film were dashed when the film was released without the character in sight – save for B-roll footage of the X-Men films during the movie’s credits.
Speaking to ComicBook , Berry explained her absence from Deadpool & Wolverine . When asked if she was ever in talks for a cameo, she replied: “No.” She went on to explain: “ Blake [Lively] asked me one time, I ran into her at a Marc Jacobs fashion show, and she said, ‘Would you ever be in my husband [ Ryan Reynolds’ ] movie as Storm?’ I said, ‘Yeah, if he asked me,’ but he never asked me.
