This milestone marks a significant advancement in Gulfstream’s ultramodern, high-technology family of next-generation aircraft, setting a new standard for performance and comfort in its class.

The G400 embarked on its maiden flight from Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport at 9:04 a.m., returning after 2 hours and 54 minutes.

During this initial flight, the aircraft reached an impressive speed of Mach 0.85 and soared to an altitude of 41,000 feet (12,497 meters). The mission was notably accomplished using a blend of sustainable aviation fuel sourced from Gulfstream’s Savannah campus, underscoring the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

The Gulfstream G400 is a testament to cutting-edge aviation technology, featuring a combination of Gulfstream’s advanced aerodynamic clean-wing design, Pratt & Whitney Canada PW812GA engines, and next-generation avionics.
