The Great British Bake Off has revealed its 2024 roster of bakers ahead of the Channel 4 show's comeback. The baking programme has become a staple on our televisions due to its challenging baking tasks, playful innuendos, soggy bottoms and, naturally, the Paul Hollywood handshake. It's now been officially announced that the fifteenth series of The Great British Bake Off will commence on Tuesday, September 24 at 8pm.

A fresh batch of twelve bakers will step into the Bake Off marquee and compete against each other for the coveted Bake Off cake stand and the honour of being crowned Bake Off champion. The new contestants include a university student, a car mechanic and a palliative care nurse. They'll be aiming to wow returning judges Paul Hollywood and Dame Prue Leith, while presenters Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond provide their support and commentary on their baking prowess.
