Graziano Di Prima has the support of three former Strictly Come Dancing contestants following his shock exit from the show. The Italian dancer, 20, said over the weekend that he "deeply regrets" the events that led to his departure as the BBC confirmed he had been dropped from the 2024 line-up. It's alleged Graziano was let go by the Beeb on Monday night over allegations of inappropriate behaviour from him towards his 2023 celebrity partner Zara McDermott .

The former Love Island star, 27, unfollowed Graziano on Instagram on Saturday night within hours of the news being made public. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, minutes on from it being revealed in a national newspaper that he had been axed, Graziano told his followers: "While respecting the BBC HR process, I acknowledge it's only right for the sake of the show that I step away. "I am saddened that I wasn't allowed to offer a quote to the online news stories, and I take on board the sensitivity of the situation.

There's more to this story that I am unable to discuss at this time, but I am committed to being strong for my family and friends. I wish the Strictly family nothing but success in the future." Graziano's Instagram post attracted a wave of comments from fans but not many from famous friends or Strictly stars.

However, two past celebrity contestants did leave a message of support for the former professional. Susannah Constantine , who appeared on the show in 2018, was one of the two big names to comment on Graziano'.
