The new series of a popular crime drama set in the city will air on TV screens next month. The fourth series of Grace, which is based on the book series by author Peter James, will launch on ITV on September 1 at 8pm. Viewers will be able to catch a glimpse of plenty of Brighton locations in the upcoming episodes, with stars of the programme having been spotted filming in various places across the city over recent months.

This includes a meeting with the West Pier in the background, a crime scene at Hove Lagoon, and scenes believed to be filmed at Brighton Marina. The new series will have four episodes.

In May, ITV crews descended on a closed city centre nightclub for filming. The former PopWorld club in West Street, Brighton, was used for two days of shooting on May 7 and 8.
It was transformed into a bomb factory with fake smoke spotted by nearby residents. Cast members of the hit ITV series including John Simm were then spotted in Kemp Town towards the end of the month, with Sussex Square closed for filming. In June, John Simm and Richie Camp.
