" For Jessica—who first met the former NHL player at Coachella in 2018—it was important to incorporate her loved ones in all aspects of her special day at Pine Canyon. For instance, her custom veil was adorned with the phrase “Take Time to Smell the Roses,” an homage to her late grandfather. "My grandpa was such a huge part of my childhood, and he always said that to us," the 39-year-old recalled.
"My life was so fast with Gossip Girl , but he would always say, 'Just make sure you're taking time to smell the roses.' That stuck with me." More familiar faces were also in attendance, including Gossip Girl costa.
