The couple, who met on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, are used to periods of separation. Gorka, a professional dancer on the show, is set to return for the 2024 series this autumn.
Since meeting on the show, the pair have got engaged in 2021 and are now proud parents to daughter Mia, five, and son Thiago, one. In 2023, shortly after their son's birth, Gorka had to leave their Greater Manchester home for the BBC One dance contest. Earlier this year, he spent several weeks away from his family while touring with his fellow Strictly professionals.
Recently, 33 year old Gorka has been busy with rehearsals alongside his co-stars, preparing for the new series by pre-recording pro numbers for the upcoming series, which marks Strictly's 20th anniversary. It remains unconfirmed if Gorka will have a partner for this year's series.
