Host Ed Balls was accused by Zarah Sultana, MP for Coventry South, of interviewing her with "sneering contempt" as they discussed far-right violence in the UK.

Zarah later expressed her frustration on social media , stating: "The sneering contempt of 'journalists' will never stop me from calling out racism and Islamophobic hate." During the segment, co-host Kate Garraway intervened, reminding Ms Sultana: "We have to ask you questions as well," to which Ed chimed in: "And if you want to, you can answer them, it's your call." The tension escalated as Ed and Ms Sultana continued to butt heads, with the MP retorting: "I'm going to wait for Kate to finish her question if that's alright," and Ed responding: "If you want to answer the questions, you can but you don't have to.
