A GOOD Morning Britain host has confirmed they'll be replaced in a huge show shake-up - and told fans "it's a goodbye from me." The ITV anchor confessed their stint on the programme had been "really good fun" as Thursday's episode wrapped. Good Morning Britain fans have previously praised Trisha Goddard for her debut hosting stint on the weekday series.

It came as she filled in for Kate Garraway , 57, this week, joining co-host Richard Madeley , 68, from Tuesday's episode. On Thursday Trisha , 66, told viewers her three-day ITV daytime segment had come to an end and said: "It's goodbye from me. "It's been really good fun.

" READ MORE GMB As Richard agreed, she joked: "Don't miss me too much." Earlier in the week, one fan took to X to write: "I am loving Trisha presenting on GMB!" Another posted: "Can I just say having Trisha on is fantastic. She bloody knows what she's talking about.

" Trisha's chat show was axed in 2010 and towards the end of its run she was diagnosed with and beat breast cancer. Most read in News TV But this year she revealed it returned in 2022 . It came as the much-loved broadcaster is battling a terminal cancer diagnosis.

She confirmed that although it was treatable, it had spread to another part of her body and was no longer curable. Trisha said: "With that knowledge comes grief and fear. "But I must keep enjoying what I have always enjoyed.
