Good Morning Britain viewers were left delighted as Charlotte Hawkins made a return to our TV screens after a short break. During Thursday’s episode of the ITV hit breakfast show, the TV presenter, 49, took on hosting duties alongside co-star Adil Ray, 50. Speaking at the start of the show, Charlotte went on to say: “Good Morning everyone, it has just gone past 6am.
Do you know what, I’m back.” Adil turned to his co-star and said: “Welcome back. You know what I’m back.
” Charlotte revealed: “It feels a bit strange after two weeks and not having the early alarm go off.” She continued: “I think this is the longest I have had off for a very long time so it was a bit of a shock to the system.” Adil asked: “What have you been doing for two weeks?” Charlotte revealed: “I’ve been doing all sorts of water sports actually.
A lot of sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding and a little bit of water skiing. It’s been a great fun family water holiday we went on.” A picture of Charlotte then popped up on a screen as she said: “Oh yes that’s me on a Kayak.
” Adil jumped in: “Oh very nice.” Charlotte admitted: “I didn’t take many pictures but that was one of the action shots and I highly recommend it.” Adil asked: “So where did you go? If you don’t mind me asking.
” Charlotte explained: “We went to Greece then to the Isle of Wight. It was a holiday of two halves.” Looking shocked, Adil turned to Charlotte and said: “You’ve had two holid.
