This strategic appointment transitions Javier from his previous non-executive capacity as a board member of GoNexus Group, a position he has held since 2023, to a key executive role within the organization. In his new position, Javier will directly report to Rubén Gutiérrez, the President of GoNexus Group.
Javier Arévalo brings more than three decades of executive expertise in the travel technology and hospitality sectors. Prior to joining GoNexus Group, he held several high-level positions at HBX Group (formerly Hotelbeds) for over twenty years. His roles included Managing Director for the Americas and Executive Vice President and Global Managing Director of Beyond The Bed (BTB), HBX Group’s division dedicated to experiences and mobility.
Under his leadership, BTB emerged as a frontrunner in the experiences and mobility market, offering tours, activities, and transportation solutions through esteemed brands such as Hotelbeds, Bedsonline, Carnect, and Holiday Taxis.
