The 53 year old TV personality finalised his divorce from Daniel, 43, earlier this year and is now set to appear on Celebs Go Dating . Alongside the likes of Corrie's Helen Flanagan and Married at First Sight bride Ella Morgan , Stephen has put himself in the capable hands of dating gurus Anna Williamson and Paul Brunson to find him his new Mr Right.
In a candid admission following their split, Stephen revealed that they both just 'switched off' from their relationship six years after saying 'I do', and he will discuss it further on the E4 reality show. Speaking to The Sun, he said: "We touch on it in the series. We both kind of switched off and stopped working at it.
"The longer you leave it, the more it deteriorates to a point where there's no going back. "I'm a firm believer in that life is about change and now I'm just looking forward to the next chapter of my life. The TV star, who recently shared why he left the Channel 4 series that catapulted him to fame, acknowledged that he and Daniel had an 'amazing time' during their 11 years together, but he's 'looking forward' to embarking on a new journ.
