The reality star, 52, decided to leave the show after its 10th anniversary in 2023, admitting he'd grown tired of repeating the same funny moments over and over again for viewers.

In April, Stephen announced he and his husband Daniel Lugwig were divorcing after six years of marriage , and now the star is trying to find love again on Celebs Go Dating . Speaking to The Mirror ahead of the show's return on August 19, Stephen explained the reasoning behind his decision to leave Gogglebox, having also appeared on the show with his mum Pat, and friend Chris Ashby-Steed.
