PC players have managed to remove the PSN restrictions plaguing God of War Ragnarok. With the PC version requiring a PlayStation Network login for the single-player game, talented modders have already created a workaround. God of War Ragnarok without PSN PlayStation’s PSN account requirements stop games like Helldivers 2 from being playable in specific countries, as well as being an annoyance for PC gamers.

Even Concord required a login , and we know how that went . Thankfully, modder iArtoriousUA has created a tool that fully removes the PlayStation PC runtime requirement from the God of War Ragnarok PC port. The tool doesn’t modify or use any game code or assets, but allows players to avoid the pesky PSN login requirement.

“There is a number of people that encountered various unexpected errors and issues, e.g. a sudden error message popup and more,” the modder writes.

“This library attempts to resolve all the possible issues related to the PlayStation PC SDK.” Available to download here , the mod simply requires two DLL files to be added to the game’s directory. For those who still have issues, they may have to delete the game’s “userpreferences” file found in the game’s save folder.

After properly installing the mod, players will be asked to link their Steam account in a pop-up. After saying “no”, or blocking the GoWR.exe from your Windows Firewall, you should be able to play the game without signing into anything.
