Robert Rinder was visibly moved as he reflected on a poignant interview with a terminally ill teenager on Good Morning Britain. Alongside co-host Kate Garraway, Robert interviewed 16 year old Liz Hatton, who had the opportunity to meet Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, along with her family. Rob, fighting back emotion, asked Liz, "do you think you're up to it? " while Kate expressed her excitement about seeing the photos.
Overwhelmed with joy, Liz said she was "blown away" by the offer and called it a "dream come true", reports the Mirror . Wrapping up the interview, Rob inquired about the pride Liz's mother must feel. Her mother said: "We're proud of her every day; she's got so much determination.
She isn't scared of dying; she doesn't want to leave us behind but she's not scared. She gets up and she lives every day. I'm not sure I could do it if I was her.
She's amazing. I'll get told off if I cry so I better not!" Rob was moved to tears, praising the family and reflecting on the importance of optimism during difficult times. He said: "It's Jewish New Year today.
