Good Morning Britain presenter Narinder Kaur has spoken out after recieving a wave of backlash for her "insentive" comments about Kate Middleton 's appearance. On Sunday, the panellist took to X and reposted an article about the Princess of Wales, who this weekend attended Remembrance Sunday events after announcing the end of her chemotherapy treatment. Kate has been battling cancer since at least March this year, after undergoing major abdominal surgery and in the post Narinder asked: "Genuine question – why has Kate aged so much? Isn’t she only 42? Is she a smoker? It’s the only explanation.

" Despite issuing a statement and apologising, the former Big Brother star joined the Jeremy Vine Show on Channel 5 and stated: "No matter how much I try and convince people that wasn't my intention, they're not going to believe it. "My intention, it's in the tweet, was to say 'is she a smoker?' Anybody who knows me knows I'm so anti-smoking for many reasons. My dad passed away for smoke related diseases, I do think it ages you.

It had nothing to do with cancer." The broadcaster insisted: "It was in the tweet, I can't keep explaining it. 'Is she a smoker?' and I can't understand from asking a simple question about smoking has become that I am the devil of Britain.

"I genuinely don't understand where that's come from." This is a breaking live TV story, the Showbiz Express.co.
