Aman Gupta, a well-known judge on Shark Tank India, shares a personal look at his home, calling it a refuge from his busy career. For him, home is where he can fully enjoy being a dad and husband, having peaceful moments with his family. His spacious 7,200-square-foot apartment in Gurugram was designed as a personal retreat that reflects his family's character.

To bring this idea to life, he teamed up with Monica Chawla, head of Essentia Environments. Gupta wanted a "chill zone" that balanced comfort and style, while Chawla focused on creating areas that offered both luxury and the family’s need for privacy and togetherness. When Gupta first saw the apartment, he viewed it as a blank slate ready for change.

He imagined a home that promotes togetherness, with four bedrooms and a multifunctional activity room designed for their needs. The activity room is especially important, serving as a space for family movie nights and quiet time for everyone. The design of the home combines art and practicality, with each item chosen to share a story.

Chawla focused on keeping the design functional while also looking good, using a neutral colour scheme that allows for colourful accents as the family grows. This way, the home stays fresh and lively as they add new pieces from their travels. Aman Gupta’s love for supporting new artists shows in the artwork displayed throughout his apartment, with each piece adding to the story of their home.
