Gladiators star Bernadette Hunt has left a small fortune in her will following her shock death last year. The TV star was best known under her gameshow moniker, Flacon - becoming a fan favourite on the series when she featured in episodes from 1993 until 2000. She was the second longest-serving female Gladiator, having been on the show from season two until the initial run ended after season eight.
Earlier this year, Gladiators was revived by the BBC as a glitzy Saturday night family entertainment show - bringing it back to screens 24 years after it left ITV . Former ballerina Bernadette sadly passed away in March last year at the age of 59 following a battle against cancer. The star left behind her husband, Mark, and two children.
Now details of her will have been shared suggesting she left a six-figure sum to the family she left behind. While the initial figure was close to half a million, it was reduced following the removal of associated costs. According to The Sun, the TV star left almost £300,000 to her family in her will.
The publication states: "Bernadette left £444,000 in her estate, reduced to £293,000 once debts and costs were removed." And the report went on to say the Gladiator's property and possessions on top of the money left in her will have been divided between her son Adam, 39, and daughter Angel, 20. Bernadette's death was announced by her sister Carol's partner Rick Jango.
He shared the sad news in a statement on social media. He wrote: "It is with gre.
