GILLIGAN'S Island star Tina Louise is getting candid about her time on the set of the iconic show. The 90-year-old actress is re-releasing her memoir and gave a fun update about it. Tina played Ginger Grant on Gilligan's Island, alongside Russell Johnson, Dawn Wells , Bob Denver, Jim Backus, Natalie Schafer, and Alan Hale, Jr.

She is re-releasing her memoir, Sunday: A Memoir , 27 years after it first came out in 1997. The actress is also releasing it on audio for the first time. To commemorate the rerelease of her book, Tina shared a bit about her time on set on Facebook.

"I had just become a member of the Actor’s Studio, and I didn’t really want to do it, but they weren’t happy with the person who did the pilot, so I was just asked to do it.
