star Dan Aykroyd believes that people’s pets become spirits when they die. The 72-year-old actor – who created and starred in the Ghostbusters franchise – insists anyone devastated over the death of their dog or cat can contact a special type of medium to speak with them. Dan, who played loveable Ray Stantz in three of the movies, insists it is possible because both cats and dogs are sentient beings.
Appearing on the Bullseye podcast, he said: “The province of Quebec in Canada has deemed cats and dogs as sentient beings. When a dog or a cat crosses over, absolutely. There are very talented mediums out there who are able to get in touch with your pet, I am glad to say.
