This came after he attended the hearing of the Senate panel on public information and mass media last Monday and admitted that he was raped by a musical director of a television network, whom he did not name.

Speaking again before the same Senate committee on Tuesday, Santos identified a certain Danny Tan as the one who raped him.

Danny Tan,” Santos revealed. (Now, I am ready to face my real enemy: the person who raped and abused me when I was 15 years old. He’s Mr.

Danny Tan.) Santos also emotionally recounted how he personally experienced his career being jeopardized, with him losing the job even if he was the victim.

(Psychiatric and psychological support is important for the victim, especially if the victim is a minor for them to have safe guards that even if the sex offender is relieved from post, the victim will not experience being picked on.
