Saturday, August 17, 2024 Starting Nov 10, 2024, Resorts World Cruises’ Genting Dream will dock at Melaka, enhancing trips to Kuala Lumpur with a historic touch. Resorts World Cruises is excited to reveal that starting November 10, 2024, the Genting Dream will use Melaka’s historic port as its entry point to Kuala Lumpur on its 2-night voyages from Singapore every Sunday. Known for its deep understanding of Asian destinations, the cruise line offers passengers a revamped journey with two stops in Melaka and the capital, Kuala Lumpur, extending the port stay from 10 to 12 hours.

This allows travelers ample time to explore Melaka before re-embarking. The Genting Dream will moor near Melaka, providing passengers breathtaking views of the coast and landscapes. From the ship, travelers can take a short tender ride along the Melaka River to the contemporary Immigration, Customs, Quarantine, and Security Complex (ICQS Complex).

A brief 15-minute stroll leads guests directly to Melaka’s heart, a UNESCO World Heritage Site adorned with Dutch Square’s red colonial structures and the bustling Jonker Street, renowned for its vibrant market scene, eateries, and cultural shows. Alternatively, passengers can opt for a riverboat tour right next to the ICQS Complex to witness the city’s rich historical tapestry shaped by Portuguese, Dutch, and British influences, along with mural art, parks, and lively shops lining the river. Every alternate Monday, travelers can embark from Melaka .
