A make-up artist who worked for legendary country singer Garth Brooks and his wife, singer Trisha Yearwood , has alleged that Brooks brutally sexually assaulted her. The harrowing lawsuit was filed under the name of Jane Roe in Los Angeles today and graphically describes instances of rape, battery, and other extremely distressing acts that took place in 2019. Roe was first hired to do hair and makeup Trisha Yearwood in 1999, but began also providing these services for Brooks in 2017.

The six-claim complaint comes just after Brooks, using the name John Doe, went to federal court in Mississippi in September to try to stop a ‘fabricated lawsuit’ from doing ‘substantial, irreparable damage.’ In one instance detailed in the make-up artist’s suit, she claims Brooks hired her to come to a show with him but booked only one hotel room for both of them. He then refused to provide another when asked.
