JERMAINE Jenas has wiped Match of the Day from his social media after being sacked by the BBC. The presenter and ex-footballer, 41, has been dismissed from his role at the Beeb following complaints about alleged "inappropriate behaviour". The Sun revealed married dad-of-four Jenas was accused by a female staff member on The One Show of sending "flirty" texts .

An internal investigation then saw more people came forward to complain about his workplace behaviour. His Instagram page no longer mentions the flagship football show - though does still list The One Show and BBC Sport in his bio. Former England and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Jenas has been quietly removed from the BBC's official channels. A giant mural featuring the 41-year-old alongside BBC Sport colleagues Gary Lineker , Alan Shearer and Alex Scott , in Manchester's Media City has been removed.
