Furious easyJet customers have been caught up in long delays and cancellations amid a major European strike. The budget airline has been forced to cancel 232 flights to and from Portugal due to industrial action by cabin crew in the country. British holidaymakers planning to fly on easyJet today, tomorrow or the next day have been advised to check their flight status using the airline's online tracker.

EasyJet operates flights to Portugal from several UK airports, including Glasgow, Manchester , Bristol, London Gatwick, and Luton. The airline flies to various destinations in Portugal, including Lisbon, Porto, and Faro on the Algarve coast. A spokesperson for EasyJet confirmed to the Mirror that 27 return flights between the UK and Portugal have been cancelled ahead of the strike period.
