Prolific Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele has called on Nigerians to be weary of a scammer identified as Prosper who is using her identity to solicit funds. Funke who made this disclosure on her social media page on Monday shared a screenshot of the scammer using her name and picture to deceive unsuspecting victims into sending money. In the WhatsApp chats shared, it could be seen as the scammer asked a victim to lend him N200,000, promising to repay it the following day.
Funke further warned her fans to be cautious of such scams, saying “Pls beware!!! This is not from me!! Prosper!!! E no go prosper for you o!!! Ole!!!” She also advised the public to avoid falling for such fraudulent schemes..
