Danny Cooper, a 21-year-old British woman, was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), a condition where the brain struggles to send or receive signals to and from the body, leading to paralysis. Danny's body became paralyzed from the waist down, which doctors attributed to severe anxiety and stress caused by financial struggles. Initially, she experienced dizziness after work, thinking it was just exhaustion.

However, the next morning, she couldn’t move or speak. After misdiagnosing her symptoms as a migraine, further tests revealed she had FND. Though her speech returned after a few weeks, she remains unable to walk and now uses a wheelchair.

Danny described her experience as feeling like a computer overloaded with tabs, crashing suddenly. FND symptoms include vision problems, difficulty speaking, numbness, and hearing issues..
