BBC Breakfast: Naga Munchetty 'bereft' Olympics is over BBC Breakfast returned to our screens this Sunday (August 18), with BBC presenters Luxmy Gopal and Roger Johnson stepping back in to host the show. While the pair had plenty of important news stories breaking from all around the world, some fans still had one particular gripe with the show. Today’s news included an update on the Israel -Gaza war, a story about the importance of making air travel more accessible and an interview with Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson.

However, some eagle-eyed viewers noticed that some content had been repeated by the broadcaster, taking to social media to voice their irritation. Introducing the segment, Roger said: “Now it’s time for the latest technology news on this week’s edition of Click.” The programme then cut away to a pre-recorded section of the show, Click, which was this week focusing on a cutting-edge new sustainable scooter.

The programme explored how the scooter is made and how it compares to other high-end competitors. The vehicle in question goes into production later this year, and it will cost €15,000. While some technology fans might have enjoyed the segment, others were frustrated that they’d seen the scooter before.

Taking to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter , some viewers expressed their disappointment at the repeat. Don't miss..
