She also portrayed Jigyasa Bali in Kasamh Se, Sakku Bai in Jhansi Ki Rani and Sudha Buaa in Gangaa. In a media interaction, Jaya shared that her mother was a famous singer. Initially, she also wanted to be a classical singer and dancer in her early days.
