[PARK SANG-MOON] Korea’s relationship with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has developed at warp speed over the last decade. The two modernized states have found ample common ground to bolster their innovation-driven economies. Emiratis have also displayed high engagement with K-pop and K-drama, which has led the Korean government to pinpoint the UAE as one of its top locations for expanding its cultural influence abroad.

But there is still so much potential," he told the Korea JoongAng Daily at the JoongAng Ilbo Building in Mapo District, western Seoul, on Monday.
