The biggest weekend in the Irish music calendar is almost here with Electric Picnic 2024 set to get underway this weekend. The hugely popular music festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, with the 2024 event taking place slightly earlier than usual. Electric Picnic is traditionally held in the first weekend in September, with festival director Melvin Benn confirming that the change in date this year has been made in an effort to accommodate the touring schedules of artists.
