The sporting and fashion worlds are about to collide again for the AFL’s night of nights and eyes will not only be on who claims footy’s highest honour, but also the glamorous gowns. The fiancees of Fremantle Dockers co-captains Andy Brayshaw and Caleb Serong — Lizzie Stock and Chloe Furnari — have shared some insight into their style and who will be dressing them up in jewels this year. Peppermint Grove Jewellers — one of the only places in WA to make jewellery onsite — will provide sparkling diamond necklaces for the girls.

Stock’s elegant and vintage vision came to life with a necklace featuring a solid gold band and a timeless five-carat-diamond pendant. Furnari’s diamond necklace is more suited to the brand’s statement pieces and elevated red carpet collection. “We are thrilled to showcase our craftsmanship on this prestigious stage and look forward to seeing our creations sparkle on the AFL red carpet this year,” co-owner and founder Giuseppe Alegari said.

For this year’s Brownlow red carpet, lots of bold pieces are expected with large diamonds that make a statement. “Both mixed metal jewellery, wearing both yellow and gold I think will be big on this year’s red carpet. “Also for those more extravagant dresses, it is always nice to keep it simple with soft dainty elegant pieces as well,” he said.

Furnari — an interior designer — will be dressed in a custom-designed gown by Perth’s Blanc Bridal Boutique, marking the atelier’s Brown.
