The city centre is set to turn into a hub of live music this week as Beyond The Music makes a return to Manchester. The popular music conference and festival, which will feature appearances from the likes of Aitch, Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham and Lisa Nandy, will return for a second year from today until Saturday (October 9 to 12). Taking place at Aviva Studios, alongside a host of live shows across the Northern Quarter , the event has been billed as the largest of its kind in the country - and it’s also going to feature a huge free stage in the city centre, alongside pop-up hotel performances, throughout the week.
