Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) bosses are giving convicted fraudster Anna Delvey special treatment, sources have claimed. “She’s a wild character, and the DWTS team loves it when these little forest fires spring up around casting decisions. “The reality is that DWTS has never really worked with anybody like her before, and they are approaching the situation with caution behind the scenes.” Delvey, who is a Russian national, was convicted by New York state court of larceny and other crimes after pretending to be a German heiress so she could swindle $250,000.

Delvey must wear an ankle bracelet on the show that she was ordered to wear when she was put under house arrest in 2022. The source said Delvey's criminal past and the fact she is being closely monitored will give the show's ratings a boost and should be welcomed by other cast members. They adde.
