Frank Catania Claims Teresa Giudice Was Asked to Exit ‘RHONJ’

The future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey remains in limbo. Season 14 ended with what Andy Cohen described as a season final. Fans feel certain that the series, as they know it, is over.

Dolores Catania’s ex-husband , Frank Catania, claims those rumors are credible. He recently suggested that Teresa Giudice has been asked to step down from the show after she refused to film with her castmates. According to Catania, The Real Housewives of New Jersey fans won’t see Teresa Giudice again, at least not on the series. Catania claims the only remaining original RHONJ cast member has been asked to exit the show voluntarily. If that’s the case, Giudice didn’t get the memo until recently.

As recently as July, Giudice told the world that she had no plans to leave the series. During an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark , Giudice said that she would stay on to see the series through unless Bravo fired her. She seemed confident at the time that Bravo would retain her for the series, but that may have changed.

Giudice seemed much less optimistic about her staying power when The Daily Mail caught up with her in August. When asked about the series, she said she would just wait to see what Bravo had planned for her. Fans quickly noted that her body language seemed a bit tense and awkward.
