Amazon MGM Studios and production company Outlier Society have taken another step toward adapting Rebecca Yarros ' book Fourth Wing into a TV show by officially naming Moira Walley Beckett as its showrunner. The Breaking Bad producer—who won three Emmys for the show—will oversee the production and writing of Fourth Wing , which follows Violet Sorrengail as she joins the "graduate or die" Rider Quadrant at Navarre's Basgiath War College and competes to the death to become a dragon rider and eventually a soldier.
