Fortnite Reload has been a major hit since it launched earlier this season. The new mode brings a faster pace to the game with respawns and a smaller map that features iconic locations such as Tilted Towers and Pleasant Park. Now, it looks like the mode could be set to receive its first major update since it was released last month as a popular POI from Chapter 1 could be added.

According to , Epic Games is working on adding a desert biome to the map, which could then bring Paradise Palms to the mode. In Chapter 1, the desert biome first appeared in Season 5, replacing Moisty Mire. The biome consisted of Paradise Palm and a smaller landmark that got dubbed ‘Little Mexico’ by players.

Fortnite seem to be working on adding the CH1S5 desert biome to Reload 🔥 [VIA & ] It is unclear whether this would replace an existing area of the map, or whether it would be added to expand the map. But, with there only being 40 players per match, making the map larger would make it more difficult to find engagements in the early game as the players are spread thinner across the map.
