There's a new batch of Fortnite Festival songs to enjoy! That's because Fortnite Festival season 4 arrives today (Thursday 13th June), with Metallica being the musicians at the heart of it. The iconic band are following in the footsteps of Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish and The Weeknd, all of whom have starred in previous seasons of the Rock Band-like musical mode in Fortnite. (The mode, if you're wondering, is made and managed by Harmonix — the company behind Rock Band and Guitar Hero!) Fortnite Festival fans will know that songs often come and go from the mode, with Queens of the Stone Age, Weezer, Kendrick Lamar and The Cranberries also among the artists to appear thus far.
The Cantina Music from Star Wars has even been in it! Today's new season also introduces the Battle Stage, a new way to play where up to 16 players can compete over four-song set-lists to see who's the most skilled.
