Wednesday, October 2, 2024 Forrest Street Partners has expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of Leisure Acres Campground, a popular RV resort situated in Cleveland, GA, just an hour north of Atlanta. Known as the “Gateway to the Mountains,” the resort’s prime location offers easy access to nearby destinations like Dahlonega, Helen, Dawsonville, and Gainesville. This acquisition reflects Forrest Street’s strategic vision to enhance the RV experience across Georgia and the Southeast, delivering exceptional service and modernized amenities.
Leisure Acres Campground currently boasts 135 RV sites and one cabin. Although the park has maintained a high standard of service, Forrest Street Partners plans to make significant investments to further improve the property. Planned upgrades include paving the roads, developing new dog parks, installing fencing, refreshing the park’s branding, and undertaking general maintenance and property enhancements.
The real estate firm also intends to retain the current staff, while introducing operational efficiencies to ensure smooth and improved guest experiences. “Overall, the park is in great condition, so our focus is on the park’s infrastructure and operations as we train the existing team and continue to prioritize the guest experience,” said Forrest Street Partner, Todd Baldree.
