WARNING: Disturbing content Former president Donald Trump has put his foot in his mouth many times — and now some of his grassroots rivals have also sunk the boot in after an art activist group made a soccer-ball-sized model of his head. Exhibited as a dynamic art installation at Superchief Gallery in Los Angeles at the weekend, art lovers doubling as Trump haters were invited to bring the controversial piece to life. “Have you ever wanted to play soccer with Trump’s head? Thanks to INDECLINE and SUPERCHIEF, you’ll have one chance to this Saturday night at our FREEDOM KICK event,” an Instagram post read.

“Join our family of activists, artists, punks and radicals for a night of joy and rebellion.” Indecline is an activist art collective, with their Trump-inspired centrepiece — labelled Freedom Kick — designed as a ploy to “guarantee the resistance will never die”. Though it wasn’t just anti-Trump ralliers in attendance, with many curious onlookers appreciating the initiative for its artistic value.

The event launched a greater celebration of the group’s 20-plus year art history, referred to as “Killing the Precedent”. Debuting the life-like model four years ago, Indecline had then invited people at the Mexican border to boot the former president’s life-like head. The group said at the time, ”Freedom Kick is an appeal to the American sense of justice as a match between two opposing teams.
