Pune: Former India cricketer Salil Ankola 's mother, Mala Ashok Ankola (77), was found dead around noon on Friday in her daughter's flat in Prabhat Road area, a prime residential neighbourhood close to Film and Television Institute of India. She was the widow of late IPS officer Ashok Ankola. Salil, is not in Pune, the police said.
