Ford is giving its new Bronco a retro touch with the Free Wheeling appearance package, bringing bold colors to its iconic off-roader. Inspired by the Free Wheeling trucks, vans and Broncos of the late 1970s and early 1980s, this package offers a modern twist on a classic look. The new Free Wheeling package pays homage to its roots by incorporating the same vibrant red, orange and yellow graphics that defined Ford’s original Free Wheeling lineup.

Available as an option for the Big Bend trim, the package features reflective stripes on the body sides, silver door handles and an Iconic Silver grille adorned with a distinctive “BRONCO” wordmark outlined in red with a white center. “Bronco has always been about fun and capability since day one, and Free Wheeling’s looks kick that up a notch with its sunset-inspired beach vibes,” said Steve Gilmore, Ford Vehicle Personalization chief designer. He emphasized that the design stays true to its origins while integrating contemporary trends in fashion and graphics.

The 2025 Bronco Free Wheeling package comes standard with 17-inch gloss-black steel wheels, but for those opting for the Sasquatch package, it includes 17-inch gloss-black wheels with a machined lip and red accents. Inside, the vehicle boasts unique seats combining Marine-Grade Vinyl and fabric, with a color scheme that echoes the exterior stripes. To complete the retro look, customers can choose an optional Shadow Black painted roof in addition to the standard sof.
