We all love a tasty jacket potato which is a bit crispy on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. However, some people struggle to get the timings right to to achieve this – especially in an air fryer . But one foodie has shared how you can cook your spud in an air fryer correctly – with 'amazing' results.

The influencer, known as 'Air Fryer Girl' boasts 405,000 followers on Instagram under her @airfryergirluk handle. She shares air fryer recipes to cook some of your favourite dishes around. And her jacket potato one is the latest to capture people's attention.

The video starts with a tasty looking jacket potato on the screen which is loaded with melted butter. Overlay text reads: "The perfect air fryer jacket potato." The foodie then shows how she did it as she tells people to "prick the skins with a fork" first.

You then brush the potatoes with sunflower oil and season with salt and pepper. She then places the potatoes in the air fryer tray before putting them in to cook on 180C for 45 minutes. The potatoes are then shown to be perfectly crispy as the come out, but soft on the inside.

Following up in the caption, Air Fryer Girl says: "Who doesn’t love a Jacket Potato?!? Perfectly cooked in the air fryer, every time."
