A shocking development has been brought to light in the investigation of Matthew Perry’s death from the acute effects of ketamine. A press conference held by California officials on Thursday revealed five individuals have been charged for supplying ketamine that caused Perry’s death, as per Entertainment Weekly. Dr.

Salvador Plascencia - a licensed physician, Kenneth Iwamasa - Perry’s personal assistant, Jasveen Sangha, who US Attorney Martin Estrada dubbed ‘The Ketamine Queen’, with Erik Fleming and Dr. Mark Chavez, have all been separately indicted. The Department of Justice claimed the five individuals purposely administered ketamine to Perry, despite knowing his battle with addiction.

They’ve been accused of taking advantage of Perry and also trying to “cover-up” their roles in the actor’s death. The US attorney reportedly suggested Perry relapsed into addiction in the fall of 2023. “These defendants took advantage of Mr.

Perry's addiction issues to enrich themselves," said Estrada. The attorney added, "These defendants were more interested in profiting off Mr. Perry than acting for his well-being.
