More info A 21-year-old man who died following a road crash between Dirleton and Drem in East Lothian has been named by loved ones as Glenn Campbell. Tributes have poured in for the avid motorbike rider from North Berwick with his heartbroken girlfriend Paige Whyte describing Glen as her "soulmate". The tragic incident happened around 7.

30am on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. Officers received reports of a two-vehicle crash on the B1345, around 1.5miles north of Drem.

The crash involved a red Scania tanker and a green Kawasaki ZX 900E1. Emergency services attended the incident but the 21-year-old was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Paige, 19, told the Record: "Not many people say soulmates exist.

I was one of them until Glenn Campbell came into my life. He was my beautiful, amazing boy. I feel so lost without him.

"I could talk about Glenn all day, there was not one bad thing about him. He made me laugh and he had compassion for others. "He loved his family, loved his friends and loved me, but no one could stop his love for motorbikes.

He had loved them since he was a wee pup. "Our time was short but it was long time for us and I felt like I'd known him for years. He should be still here but I'm proud of everything he did.
