Bolton’s 'perfect brunch' spot officially launched this week and as an enthusiast of sweet treats and all things pink, I was excited to take a first look at the new venue. Despite opening just over a week ago, House of Chai was already bursting with guests. The tea bar and grill, which is situated on 131 Bradshawgate is already proving to be popular – and it’s not hard to see why.

The opening comes as the manager and owner, Abdullah Sajid, of the established House of Chai in Manchester decided to expand the business following its success in the city. (Image: Leah Collins) He said: “We decided to come to Bolton as we knew the market here was really vibrant, people tend to travel to Manchester to eat out and we wanted to change that.
