Firefighters rescued a person from a car which overturned following a crash on Moss Bank Way yesterday, Friday. The crash, which happened just before 5pm near the junction with Drummond Street, involved two vehicles. Photos from the incident show a car left on its side.

Shaun Hill, who owns SJH Powerwashing Services, was cleaning a nearby property when he heard the crash. Shaun said the incident left him feeling shocked – and that the area is notorious for crashes. He added: “It’s got a bad reputation – one guy nicknamed it the ‘junction of death’, but I’ve never seen a fatality there. “Death junction, they call it.
